2015-11-23

Accompanied by Lord O'Neil, Commercial Secretary to the Treasury and renowned expert in China’s economic issues, George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer paid a visit to entrepreneurial space of TechTemple in BDK Building Cultural and Creative Industry Park. This is the first stop of Mr. Osborne’s journey in Beijing, where he felt China’s overwhelming entrepreneurial atmosphere and passion in a hutong.

It’s of great meaning for British Embassy Beijing to choose entrepreneurial space of TechTemple in BDK Building Cultural and Creative Industry Park as the venue for the event  themed by ‘Technology-Driven Economic Development – Dialogue with George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer’. Mr. Osborne had a tour of the office area and creative space of TechTemple with great interest, listened to its funder’s introduction to the innovative service model of ‘basic office functions + value added incubator’, had face to face discussion with representatives from outstanding entrepreneurial teams, and experienced scientific and technological innovation products from time to time. The whole event’s featured by active interactions and great atmosphere. After the visit, he said that ‘the reason for me to get British media here is to let them tell British people what happens here in China.’

At the moment, BDK Building Cultural and Creative Industry Park has got TechTemple, Breaking Space, Qixin Design, haodai.com, JGYOU along with many other well-known internet, innovative and financial enterprises in it. The industry park will continuously improve software and software facilities, rise service quality and awareness, further increase its influence and brand awareness, and build a unique and renowned entrepreneurial park brand in Beijing.
