BDK won the bid for CAUPC’s ‘emergency water purification and emergency support unit project under the national emergency rescue capability building project’ on January 13 with other leading professional companies in water purification industry, and the contract value’s up to RMB 57 million yuan. The award of this contract indicates that BDK will be guided by supply-side reform, continuously strengthen its marketing efforts, launch a product marketing campaign for projects, orders and market share, and have a good beginning in marketing in 2017.

The emergency water purification unit is specially designed by BDK for rapid response to disaster, and the unit uses the company’s core technology of ‘UF+RO’, which can be used for treatment of algae-laden water, brackish water, high turbidity water, contaminated surface water, low temperature and low turbidity water and other water of different water qualities, and extensively used in Northeast China, North China, Southwest China, Sinkiang and other areas. The treated water meet the country’s Standard for Drinking Water Quality, and the design water treatment capacity is up to 5m3/h, which can be met even under the worst water quality conditions. The unit is capable of dealing with water shortage situations caused by earthquake, debris flow, flood and most natural disasters. In terms of emergency water purification and emergency support unit, professional water purification and communication system equipments have been mounted on the mobile platform, the van body has been customized in a professional manner based on category Ⅱ chassis, and advanced manufacturing processes and materials have been applied in consideration of technical requirements and related parameters of professional water purification and communication system equipments to build an incomparable special vehicle. As a mobile project, it has higher requirements than fixed projects in terms of size of water purification equipment, weight, intensive design, automatic operation and future upgrading. Hence from the perspective of design, vehicle modification has been perfectly combined with water treatment facility to deliver mobile and flexible results. Besides, it has greatly increased the degree of automation, which allows the water treatment facility to run and react in an automatic and rapid manner. Besides, external conduit couplings use quick couplings for fire control, which make it easier for the water to come out. 

The implementation of this project is of great significance to the integrated emergency water purification unit which’s well-adapted to different water sources. The first lot manufacturing of emergency water purification units in China has created a new sector in emergency response market, and made the brand of ‘BDK’ closely associated with emergency water purification industry, which allows BDK to take the leading position in this sector, and explore and penetrate into new markets and areas. At the same time, as an important qualified supplier for the country’s emergency rescue system, BDK will actively make contributions to the improvement of our country’s emergency drinking water safety management capability under the circumstances of China’s plan to amend water pollution prevention and control law.
